� 2009 CoasterCommunity.comSchlitterbahn Vacation Village in Kansas City, KS is making some headway in constructing the new waterpark resort's water attractions. CoasterCommunity.com recently took a tour of the construction site and filed this report. It may not look like a lot is complete at this point but most of the time consuming aspects of water park construction are all the concrete pours - much of which is already complete for Vacation Village.
The first phase of the development, which consists mainly of the water park, is scheduled to open sometime in June.
